Email MeMr. Marcus has substantial experience in a number of areas of law, including medical malpractice, employment, civil rights, governmental liability, education, construction, commercial disputes, automobile accidents, real estate, and patent and trademark law. He has prepared written appeals that led to reversals at both the New Mexico Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Marcus is admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico, and has previously been admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, although his Pennsylvania license is no longer active. Mr. Marcus is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Marcus graduated from Williams College in 1997 with a degree in chemistry and environmental studies. He went on to obtain a Master’s degree in chemistry from Indiana University in 2000 before attending the University of Michigan Law School, where he received his J.D. in 2006. He was an article editor for the Michigan Journal of International Law, and worked on intellectual property issues at the U.S. International Trade Commission during the summer of 2005.
