Mr. Grubel has a BA in history  from the College of New Jersey and a MA in Latin American studies in 2001.  He continued his studies and earned his J.D. in 2006.  While in law school, Mr. Grubel served as the Chair of the Graduate and Professional Students Association.

Mr. Grubel’s practice has touched upon varied areas of the law.   He has significant experience representing large financial institutions, corporations, state agencies, public employees, municipalities, police officers, school districts, medical professionals, and individuals in disputes ranging from class actions to domestic matters.  He successfully litigated the termination of the longest running federal consent decree in New Mexico.  Mr. Grubel is admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico.
